Our Story
Before we tell you who we are today, we want to thank you for your time and interest — because every beautiful journey begins with people who choose to believe in us.
EKDent began in a very modest way, on the outskirts of Elbasan, in Gostime, as a small clinic built with passion and dedication. The first steps were taken inside my father’s restaurant, where not only a workspace was created, but a vision.
My wife and I, Dr. Emanuela, had just completed our professional journey and shared one desire: to build a clinic where patients would feel safe, heard, and treated with genuine care.
Values & Growth
From the very beginning, the clinic was built on strong human values — respect, patience, and a gentle approach to every patient.
The beginnings were not easy. The biggest challenge was the lack of information and doubt, both from patients and from those who didn’t yet know our vision.
Still, believing in what we were building and staying committed to every patient gave us the strength to continue. Over time, thanks to the trust of our first patients and the good word they shared with family and friends, EKDent began to grow naturally.
Today
Today, EKDent has become a consolidated network with three clinics in three key locations: Gostime, Elbasan, and Tirana — bringing our services closer to an ever-growing number of patients.
Another important step in this journey was opening our in-house laboratory, which gives us full quality control, maximum transparency, and personalization for every dental work.
What once started as a small clinic with two chairs is now a modern three-floor facility, equipped with 5 operating rooms, advanced technology, and a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Even though we’ve grown, we’ve kept the same principle: to treat every patient with care, respect, and maximum dedication.
The Founder
Dr. Klevis Lamcja is the founder of EKDENT, one of the most recognized dental clinics for quality, innovation, and patient care. With a modern approach based on digital technologies, advanced materials, and minimally invasive clinical protocols, Dr. Lamcja has dedicated his career to improving the smiles and oral health of his patients.
With a clear vision and a strong passion for dentistry, he built a reality that combines professionalism, excellent results, and a unique human experience, becoming a point of reference for those seeking high-level dental care.

A passion for dentistry and dedication to patients have been the foundation of Dr. Emanuela Selfo’s professional path for more than 18 years in the field. She graduated in Dentistry in 2008 and continued her training with a two-year Master’s in Orthodontics (2014–2015) and specialization in Orthodontics in 2022.
Dr. Selfo has participated in advanced training in orthodontics, aesthetic dentistry and implantology, continuously following the latest developments in modern dentistry.
Her professional approach combines functionality, aesthetics and personalized care, aiming to create natural smiles and long-term results for every patient.
